A Counter Cultural View of Special Needs.
This article touched my heart today. Many people assume that having a child with special needs is a burden often too difficult to be borne, for parents, much less for siblings. Reading Marie-Claire's article, could change their minds!
I love that story. Coincidentally I just finished reading a book titled, "That Went Well… Adventures in Caring for My Sister" written by Terrell Dougan. It is a book for brothers and sisters of people with special needs to read. Truly inspiring book!
